| WOW, the summer flew by very quickly! We got some very necessary repairs done on the house. We finally finished the dining room, resided the back of the house and installed air conditioning (which doesn't work, by the way). It has been a productive but busy few months. Now, nothing left to do but wait. I took Dan to the Crane Armory last Friday morning for his three month training. Then he leaves for his deployment in January. The good news, he'll be back in December for Christmas for sure. The bad news, it will only be 10 days and I won't be able to visit him while he's in training. It's okay though, because fortunately, I know that God is in control. At least I'm trying to remember that He's in control and not me. I am hoping that the year and a half that he will be gone will go quickly. We'll see I guess. In the meantime, I have jam-packed my weekly schedule with work and exercise and more exercise. Now, if I could only get used to sleeping by myself again! Yeah RIGHT! I'm loving the huge empty king sized bed with no knees in my back. Don't get me wrong, I miss Dan a whole lot, but sleeping soundly seems to be easier when I have the entire bed to myself. Na, I miss him, just kidding. The rest of the family is doing great. Spending time with my nieces make my week so wonderful. I can't wait to see them every Sunday. Eva is so chubby and cute and sweet. Lexi is growing so fast, talking all of the time, I mean nonstop; and Brooke is getting chubby and can hold her head up pretty good now. I can't wait for more! | | |
| Hello everyone! I guess I had better get to posting some pictures too since everyone else has posted pictures of my wedding! The wedding was wonderful, and so much fun. It was exactly what I wanted it to be. I was so happy to finally be marrying Dan and to be able to celebrate with my family and friends. The wedding went off without a hitch. My favorite part was when my Dad and I walked to the front of the church, and we started singing the hymn Great is Thy Faithfulness. I could hear everyone in the seats singing behind me, the sun was shining, and I was about to marry the man God has made for me. He is faithful! Dan and I left the next day for hour honeymoon in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. We had such a good time relaxing and just spending some quality time together. It is so beautiful down there. I would recommend it to anyone. We are now adjusting to married life and getting our house in order. We still haven't finished redoing the dinning room, but Dan promised it would be done by July15th...we'll see. I'm posting a few of my favorite pictures from the wedding.

| Spring is finally here and there is so much to celebrate! 9 days left and I will be Mrs. Parsons! I can't believe it's so close. This month has been really busy. Dan started work on our dining room. He added french doors that open onto our deck. He tore down the wall and added a little bay window area. We still have to finish the walls, install the hardwood floors, re-plaster the whole room, redo the trim, paint and put the furniture back before next Saturday...hahaha yeah right! We had our friends from the DC area up last weekend. On Sunday, March 30th, Dan's brother Wes and his wife Hope had a brand new baby boy named Charles Benjamin! He was 9lbs and 22 inches long. He is so cute! As soon as I get some pictures, I'll post them. Today Dan's other brother Mike is having open heart surgery to repair his aorta. The wedding is next week, so we've been busy. But God is good, and he is in control. Last night, my cousin Sarah, Shell, Kassandra my mom, my grandma, and Sherri all helped me with doing the favors for the wedding. We had fun. They look cute. Donna also brought over the BEAUTIFUL veil that she made for me. It's absolutely perfect, and exactly what I wanted! It means so much to me that she would do that for me. It's something I will always cherish! I probably won't update for another long while, so I hope everything is going well for everyone else! If you remember, please say a prayer for Mike, Dan's brother, that he recovers quickly and wouldn't have any complications from his surgery. | | |
| Just some updated pictures for you. Dan spoke at a Veteran's Day program at the High School where his brother teaches in Muncie, Indiana. Then we traveled all the way to Dalton, Georgia for Thanksgiving with his parents. It was the month of visiting with Dan's family. We had a really nice time. My neice Eva Marie was baptized on November 4th, and we just recently found out that Sherri is pregnant again and due in July! Things have been really good, in spite of the wedding being postponed for a while. I miss you all and hope to see you soon!

Here are a few more pictures. Eva is so beautiful, and look at that gorgeous mischievous smile that Lexi has on her little face. I love little kids and tier little chick-let teeth. 1 more niece to add to the bunch! I get to see Michelle tonight after so long. I'm excited. I think we are off to Uno's for some good dinner and dessert! | | |
